For my inaugural post, I will be touching on a problem which I had encountered before some time ago and was asked about again just a few days ago.
A friend reported that applications opened in Win Xp no longer appeared in the task bar. This meant that the only way to switch between running applications was Alt-tab or the task manager.
This is what is commonly refer to over the Internet as "Minimized Programs Missing". While I do not know the cause of the problem, the fix is freely available and exceedingly easy to use.
Just download and run this script and viola! Your icons are back!
